Ruskin Lace & Linen Work

My aim when writing this book was that it would be a functional working manual.  Following through my original aim, so that as many as possible could enjoy the making of Ruskin Lace.  The technique notes were tested on beginners by allowing them to take the notes for their next stage home with them.  If those who had no basic knowledge could understand the notes then they were functional.  This is why so many the world over now enjoy making Ruskin Lace in isolation, having seen evidence of many results this has given me a great deal of reward and satisfaction.

This is the only definitive instruction on this subject.  First published at the request of B.T.Batsford Ltd., London, October 1985, reprinted 1986, soft cover introduced approx. 1989.  After being out of print a few years I was able to retrieve the copyright and re-issue it in 1997.  Finally a revised edition was published, 1999.  This continues to be available.

The revised edition is bound on a continuous spiral for ease of use and it is always obvious where the outer cover is.  folded open at the relevant page it sits happily on the lap or is not taking up valuable space on the work surface.  the diagrams are simplistic and uncluttered, the photography and printing reproduction are excellent.

This book is available from me. Please for cost of method for mailing (airmail, surface etc.) to your part of the world.  The book cost is 12.50each, sterling + 1.32 postage and packing.  Trade/wholesale enquires are welcome, minimum number 5 copies.
